The Rest: Journal of Politics and Development is inviting proposals for guest-editing a special issue of the journal in 2021 or early 2022. The editors welcome expressions of interest from individuals or teams interested. Special issue proposals need to focus on an area of research that falls within the broad scope of the journal and adds value in terms of addressing new or under-explored themes that reflect recent theoretical and empirical developments.
Expressions of interest of up to 500 words should include the following information:
- Names and affiliations of the guest editor(s), including experience and brief biographical details
- Proposed special issue theme, including possible topics and a discussion of the significance of the theme
- The relevance of the theme to the scope and coverage of the journal
